Banff Engagement Photographers | Two Jack Lake & Cascade Pond
As the summer was winding down, I met up with Amy & Mike for a Banff Engagement Photography session near Cascade Pond in Banff National Park. These lucky two are getting married in Bermuda! I’m a bit jealous!! We wandered around near Cascade Pond to start out the session enjoying the blue-green water there and ended up dancing in the tall grass near the pond. Normally when I have people twirl and spin it’s to make them laugh and be silly, but Amy must have channeled the spirit of a dancer to be as graceful as she was while spinning on a pile of rocks! Shortly after we headed to Two Jack Lake as the temperature dropped and the wind picked up. We headed to the trees for shelter and these two cuddled for warmth. It’s hard to look happy and snuggley when you are freezing, but Amy & Mike did a great job! Not one to let them suffer a lone, I waded out into Two Jack Lake up to my knees to get a few more photos of them. I’m surprised my legs didn’t turn purple and fall off… but whatever it takes to get a good angle! I had a great time photographing them in Banff! The mountains are one of my favourite places to be and I go as often as I can!
Look at her twirl on those rocks! And legs!! It’s not fair, it’s just not fair.
Let’s stop for a moment to admire this stunning ring that Amy has! It truly is spectacular!
