Banff Engagement Portraits | Lake Minnewanka & Two Jack Lake
I love winter in the mountains and I was really looking forward to Kathy & Jonathan’s Banff engagement portraits. We set the date later in February but we had an unexpectedly warm winter in Alberta this year so we really had to hunt for spots with snow. It’s crazy to think that it was green in a lot of places in Banff in February. Looking at the photos, I’m sure you think I’m fibbing, but I picked spots that still had a little snow so that we could have pretty winter photos. It was a pretty windy day when we met up at Lake Minnewanka and the sun was shining brightly. You might recognize Kathy from Nav & Nick’s Hastings Lake Gardens wedding, she was one of Nav’s lovely bridesmaids! Kathy & Jonathan were super cute and snuggly for their Banff engagement portraits and I had a lot of fun with them! After we climbed the rocks at Lake Minnewanka we headed off to Two Jack Lake for an outfit change and a few more photos so we could get the mountains and all the beautiful scenery that we could. Our last stop was a closed road on the way back to town that was super snowy and was the perfect location for some blanket snuggles. I loved photography Kathy & Jonathan’s snowy Banff engagement portraits and here are some of my favourite photos!
