Cochrane Ranchehouse Wedding Photography
The first time I was at the Cochrane Ranchehouse was with Bri & David earlier in September for their engagement photography session and I feel in love with the place for the moment I saw it. The Ranchehouse itself is beautiful, but the land all around it is even more spectacular so I was super excited for Bri & David’s winter Cochrane Ranchehouse wedding this past weekend. We didn’t luck out in terms of temperature that day… it was darn cold and windy, but we did get lucky with just the perfect little flicker of snow for the photos. The ceremony and reception was at the Ranchehouse, so we just wandered the property for photos afterwards until we all turned into popsicles. Winter weddings can be tough since you can only cover up so much when you take photos outside before you hide all the pretty details, so you just have to work fast to make sure you get lots of angles and pretty photos. After we did all the photos we could handle in the cold, wewent inside for the party for the remainder of the night. The room was sparkly and beautiful with paper lanterns and lights hung from the rafters. The blue in the flowers, the bridesmaids dresses and the reception decor was just perfect for a winter wedding. I can’t wait for the chance to photograph another wedding at the Cochrane Ranchehouse! Congratulations Brianne & David, I’m so happy I could be the one to photograph your amazing wedding day! It was just perfect! Here’s one sneak peek of the happy newlywed couple!
