Destination Wedding Photographers
I’ve got a bit of a travel bug in my system now and I’m getting really excited to explore the world a little bit more with camera in hand. I just got back a little over a week ago from my first destination wedding and it was a pretty spectacular start to my destination wedding photography career. I’m sure I’m doing things backwards since I know so many photographers would do destination weddings when they were first starting out and tend to do less of them over time. I’m pretty much the opposite! After six and a half years in business, I finally decided I was ready to do destination weddings and my first one had me photographing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Princess Cays, Bahamas, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and St Maarten! After that awesome experience, I am smitten and I would love to do more!
I’m headed off to Mexico in a few weeks for the first time ever and I’ll be be back there again later in 2014. I’m also headed to St. John’s, Newfoundland in October 2014 and I’ll be back there for weddings in July/August 2015. I’m looking to book August 1, 2015 in St. John’s or the surrounding areas (I have a wedding booked there for July 31 already and would love to have a second one!), so if you know anyone getting married on August 1, 2015 in St. John’s, NL and you think they would like what I do, please send them my way!! I’ll also be doing portrait sessions while I’m in Newfoundland too!
As always, I love Rocky Mountain weddings and I’m super happy to travel throughout Alberta & BC too. I’m looking to book lots more destination weddings for the remainder of 2014 and 2015, so if you’re headed out of province to get married, take me with you! 🙂
I’ll leave you with a few photos from the cruise and gorgeous islands that we visited!
