Edmonton East Indian Wedding!
After four days of dancing, singing and lots of food, Josh & Neetu’s wedding day finally arrived and it was a warm, sunny August day. We had an early start in the morning before the ceremony at the Nanaksar Gurdwara in North Edmonton where everyone gathered and watching the exchanging of flower garlands and a little wrestling match from the boys. After the ceremony there was a lunch served and then we went for a few more ceremoies including the Doli where Josh had to payoff Neetu’s family to take her away 😉 Afterwards we went to Josh’s home to welcome the bride as well. After relaxing for a bit, we went off for a few portraits of the couple together before they did an outfit change for the the final ceremony of the evening and the big reception at the Mirage Banquet hall. Once the wedding party was ready, Josh & Neetu did a first look in their new wedding clothes at the Fairmont Hotel McDonald. Neetu looked like a princess in her ballgown! We hung around the grounds for wedding party photos and then we were whisked away to the Mirage for the final wedding ceremony and then the party! It was a pretty fantastic time! Congratulations Neetu & Josh, you two are amazing!! And a big thank you to Krister from Picture That Photography for shooting with me that day!
