We’ve had an extra snowy winter so far here in Edmonton this year. Snowy & cold. Really snowy. So I was super happy when Christine was willing to go outside in all of the snow for some maternity photos. We had timed it for a warm (well, it was supposed to be -5, so that would have been warm) winter day but, but as luck would have it, the temperature was dropping by the hour when we went out to Hawrelak Park to do her maternity photos a few days ago. So, combine -12 with strong winds when we were out in the open, and we still managed to get beautiful photos! Christine did a great job handling the cold… I think pregnant ladies fare a little better in the winter than the rest of us because they are mini furnaces! 😉 I love Christine’s colour choice with her hat, scarf and mittens… the bright blue looks great with all that white, and, of course, shows off her amazing blue eyes too! Winter is a difficult time of year to do photos but if you dress warmly and find a good, sheltered location, it can still be super fun!
