Edmonton Maternity Photography | Winter Maternity session
I’d been in touch with Matty awhile back about a boudoir session initially but it turned out she was pregnant so we waited a bit further on to do some maternity photos. That adorable baby bump is getting full pretty fast as Matty is having twins so we did this session at around 28 weeks to make sure she would still be comfortable (You really don’t want to wait any later than 36 weeks… you still want to be able to move a little and still feel pretty!!). I wanted to do something a little more formal and this lavender flowy chiffon dress was just perfect to fit with the late winter landscape. Matty also discovered that lavender also really looks awesome with her red hair! Being pregnant makes you super warm so you can be out in the cold without a ton of layers and feel a-ok! Maternity sessions are all about the baby bump and capturing the mama-to-be’s beautiful glow. It’s pretty obvious we nailed that! Matty looks amazing (and with make-up by Mallory Miller Make-up to polish off the look). I love the sweater added with the gown, it really was the perfect touch! I just loved this wintery Edmonton Maternity Photography session and I’m looking forward to seeing photos of her twins once they arrive!!
