Not long after Allie & Mike’s fall wedding, winter hit full force here in Edmonton and it made for a perfect winter wedding wonderland for Tara & James’ wedding the following weekend. Their wedding was at the Royal Executive Inn in the West End for getting ready, ceremony and the reception and then we headed back into downtown to go to the Muttart Conservatory for indoor photos (and yes, I did make the whole wedding party suffer outside in the cold there too for some photos, but it was so pretty and it was totally worth it (I hope they agree too!)). On the way back to the reception I wanted to stop at the little gem of a spot near my studio to get some snowy photos with all of the frozen red cherries on the trees. We were all frozen… it was pretty cold out but it was so worth it to stop for a few minutes to get these photos! These are some of my favourite winter wedding photos I’ve taken! The snow was falling softly and lit up so well with the lights and the red in the background is just beautiful! Even more beautiful though, are Tara & James snuggled together in the freshly fallen snow surrounded all that pretty red from the cherries. Just perfect! Congratulations Tara & James, it was a great day!
