It’s been a couple weeks since Connie & Ed’s beautiful winter wedding here in Edmonton. It’s been pretty cold here for the past few weeks but we lucked out on November 23 (well, comparatively speaking, it was still pretty cold) to be able to do wedding party photos outside and not have everyone turn into popsicles! After a beautiful ceremony at St. Joachim we headed off to Mercer Tavern for some snack and a few photos hanging out inside and then we head into the snowy depths of the river valley for wedding party photos and a chilly couples’ shoot with Connie & Ed. I love this gorgeous snowy backdrop and Connie & Ed are adorable together! I love Edmonton in winter, it’s just so pretty draped in snow! Afterwards we made a quick stop at Structube (yup, I think it’s super fun to do wedding photos in furniture stores!) before going to the Edmonton Petroleum Club for their gorgeous wedding reception. They had a pretty fantastic wedding party too (the girls went skiing/snowboarding in their wedding gear, seriously! I’m not fibbing… but you’ll have to wait for the full blog post in a month or so to see that! Yup, we’re gonna leave you wanting more!) and handled the freezing weather amazingly! It was a fantastic day! Congratulations Connie & Ed! Here’s one of my favourite photos for their wedding sneak peek! I love winter weddings!
