Yesterday adorable little Elisabeth joined me in the studio for a Dolled-Up! photo session with her super cool Mom. Elisabeth had quite the wardrobe to choose from and she was super fun to photograph! I have to admit that I am having trouble deciding which outfit I like most. I loved the super cool casual outfit with the cherries (and my purse just helped finish off the look), but there is something super cool about the little black tutu and Batman belt buckle ensemble that really won me over! We had lots of fun with random objects we found around the studio, and I think she had sooo much fun diving into the pile of pillows. Here’s a few shots from the day and be sure to call 780-297-7546 or e-mail elizabeth@envphotography.com to book a Dolled-Up! or Rockin’ Out! session for your little darlings in ENV Photography’s new downtown Edmonton photo studio!

A couple weeks ago I met with the oh-so-talented Jenny Woo to do a shoot for her upcoming album. We shot in my favourite basement (the one that that my studio happens to be in) and in the alleys out back and got some fantastic shots of this talented singer/songwriter. You should definitely check her out on MySpace (yeah, myspace is still useful for musicians!) under the Jenny Woo Project.

Yesterday I popped upstairs to check out the hair show that Celebrity does every year, just for fun! I nabbed a few of the hair models (and my favourite stylist ever, Patricia) to come downstairs and let me take a few shots. I have some shots from the show in the Salon and they will be posted a little later on. Patricia is super-talented and can work magic with hair. If you’re looking for a fabulous hair magician, she is the one! Stop by Celebrity Hair at 10134 105 St. Any way, here’s a few shots!

Also, keep your eyes peeled for coverage by Ashley Champagne in Georgie Magazine (she was the official photographer) and Carla of Electric Green Photography was there shooting too.

A couple weeks ago I had a little meet and greet in the studio for my niece and I managed to do a mini Dolled-Up! session with one of the cute little girls who came to visit! Andrea is just adorable with those curls… look at her go!

My Mom and Dad were in town for a little over a month since the arrival of my niece Arianna. The day before they flew back home, they came into the studio to do a session with Isabella and Arianna, my nieces.  Arianna was a little sleepy but pretty co-operative, and Isabella was her little devilish self (well, maybe i should call her impish, especially the shot with her tongue hanging out where she is up to no good!) and wasn’t really feeling up have her photo taken (I think she needed a nap) but we still managed to get enough to make Meme and Papa happy!

On the weekend, my sister and my two neices came into the the new studio for a photo shoot. Arianna got her own photoshoot on the extra luxe sheepskin rug to match the shoot that her sister Isabella had a little over 2 years ago. Once Arianna had her shoot, the ladies all came together for a few portraits too. I love how Isabella just had to have Pleuts (otherwise known as Pluto) with her, and I especially love how when she got bored, she just flopped over and kicked her legs up in the air behind Arianna and Mommy snuggling!

Princess Isabella joined me in the studio yesterday for a little Dolled-Up! session. What little girl doesn’t love to play with purses and parasols? She loved purses so much that she tried to permanently take my new Kate Spade purse off my hands when leaving! We just shot for a little while with Isabella on her own before baby sister Arianna and Mommy joined in. Contact ENV Photography to book your own Dolled-Up! session – call 780-297-7546 or e-mail elizabeth@envphotography.com for more info!

Today found me back at the studio (I’m still so flabbergasted that I actually have a real studio!) and I was joined by my friend Amy (from Island in the Mist Photography) and she brought her darling little girl Bridget along for me to take a few shots and practice with the new lighting. Since Amy is a children and family photographer, she was so awesome with not reaching in and distracting Bridget, and did a great job of helping me keep Bridget’s attention. Princess Bridget became a little obsessed with the parasols, but they certainly helped to make some super cute shots! Here’s a few from earlier today!
