Fort Edmonton Park Wedding
I was super excited for Megan & Mitch’s Fort Edmonton Park wedding… they had chosen a great theme and some pretty awesome venues. I’m an avid reader and just love the world of JRR Tolkien so of course a wedding with books and an appearance of Frodo Baggins to surrender the rings made me pretty darn happy!

From the Couple:
What were you most looking forward to on your wedding day? Walking down the aisle with my daddy and seeing Mitch!
What ended up being your favourite moment(s) of the day (both answer)? Megan: Enjoying the ceremony with Mitch – the readings, singing together, seeing our family members come up for a blessing. I also had a really special moment with my dad just before walking down the aisle – we were both in the side chamber and started singing along to “Morning has Broken” together. Mitch: either Megan coming down the aisle, taking photos at Fort Ed, or standing up at the front of the church with Megan before all our friends and family. It’s hard to choose!
What was the song you chose for the processional? Morning has Broken (Cat Stevens) and “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria” from the Sound of Music.
What was the song you chose for your first dance? “Let Me Call You Sweetheart”
How did you choose your colour scheme/theme for the wedding? We looked to Hobbiton for inspiration!
Where are you going for your honeymoon? We went to Rome to receive a special blessing from the Pope, then did a road trip down the southern Italian coast!
As always, thanks to Chelsey for being my awesome second shooter!!
