Lake Louise Portrait Photographer
I stayed at the lovely Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise after Lydia & Daniel’s gorgeous winter wedding the day before and we had agreed to meet up in the morning to do photos of the newlyweds skating in front of the fabulous ice castle that sits on Lake Louise. The snow was just starting to fall the night before as we made plans and none of use expected to wake up to a foot and a half of freshly fallen snow in the morning! There went the plans for ice skating, so we fought our way out through the snow for a few photos anyway. I particularly enjoy the photos where Lydia is having fun throwing the new powdery snow and Daniel gets a face full of it… haha I loved being able to see them after the frenzy of the wedding and being able to photograph them during a semi-normal day as husband and wife. Lake Louise, of course, is always beautiful to photograph, but it was especially pretty that day under a pristine blanket of fluffy white snow. Perhaps we will rendezvous in Lake Louise for an anniversary to get those ice skating photos! Here’s a few of my favourite morning after photos in the snow!
