Chateau Lake Louise winter Destination Wedding!
I spent this past weekend in Lake Louise for Lydia & Daniel’s gorgeous winter Lake Louise wedding at the Fairmont Chateau lake Louise. Leading up to the weekend with all the warm weather, I was getting a little worried that the ice castle on the lake would have melted, but we were in luck! After the beautiful ceremony and reception in the Victoria ballroom, we stole Lydia & Daniel away for just a few more portraits at night. It finally gave them a chance for some quiet time and they were alone (except for Monica & I) to finally enjoy being married. If you’ve ever been to Lake Louise, you know how crazy crowded id can be and it’s so hard to get photos without people in them. The odds were in our favour this night. The lake was empty and the most perfect snow was falling softly around us to help make this most magical wedding photo. On this night, Lydia & Daniel were the Princess & Prince of Lake Louise and this was their castle! So very romantic! Shortly after taking this photo, we headed off to bed and woke up to over a foot of snow in the morning with whiteout conditions…just crazy! We did do another quick photo session in the morning, but I’m going to save those photos for later. Thank you for having me there to capture your wedding day, it was amazing! Congratulations Lydia & Daniel!
