Tsawwassen Wedding Photography | Cammidge House
I met Katie about 5 years ago during a boudoir session here in Edmonton, that, as we look back on it now, we can totally laugh at, but at the time, it was quite the ordeal to get through with quite the make-up fiasco. I see it as a bonding moment and in the end it all turned out beautifully with amazing photos of Katie. Fast forward five years and I get an e-mail from Katie who is now living in Sweden (I’m totally jealous of her job since she got to travel lots) telling me that she is getting married in Tsawwassen (That’s near Vancouver, well, close to Maple Ridge) and asked me to be her wedding photographer. I was so incredibly excited and I couldn’t wait to see her again and photograph her wedding. So this amazing girl married the love of her life just a few weeks ago in a gorgeous vintage wedding venue near the beach in Tsawwassen, BC at Cammidge House surrounded by their closest friends and family. Everyone seemed to have helped out to put together such a beautiful wedding (just wait for the full blog post to see all of the handcrafted details!) We did a first look at the nearby beach and enjoyed a beautiful late afternoon outdoor ceremony before having dinner at the reception in side the super cute house. After dinner, we stole Katie & Grant away for some sunset photos in the fields nearby and headed back to the ocean (this East Coast girl misses being near the ocean… landlocked in Alberta just isn’t the same as being on the coast!). I am just in love with the late evening sunset photos… if you can find time to sneak away for more photos in the evening on your wedding day, do it!! The light is so magical at night! Congratulations Katie & Grant! I wish you a million days of joy together!
