Yellowhead Brewery Wedding | Edmonton Wedding Photography
The Yellowhead Brewery is one of the most unique wedding venues in Edmonton with a rustic urban feel to it, so I was super excited when Nicole & Rob booked me for their wedding at such an awesome venue. It also doesn’t hurt that Nicole & Rob are also pretty darn fantastic people, so combine the two together and we had magic! Their Yellowhead Brewery Wedding was one of my favourites of the summer, despite the ridiculous heat outside mixed with all the wildfire haze in the air, we still had the best time ever and I just love their photos! A big thank you to Krister of Picture That Photography for second shooting while Chelsey was gallivanting all over San Diego at ComicCon that weekend 😉

…and a little about the day from the newlyweds!
What were you most looking forward to on your wedding day?
Bride – Hearing his vows and the food!
Groom – Hearing her vows and getting to wear my ring.
What ended up being your favourite moment(s) of the day (both answer)?
Bride – Our vows because we wrote them ourselves and also the reception just celebrating with our small group
Groom – After all the planning and preparation just being able to relax and enjoy the day with our close friends and family
What was the song you chose for the processional? Boys came in to Wrapped Up In You by Garth Brooks, girls came in to I Choose You by Sara Bareilles
What was the song you chose for your first dance? Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran
How did you choose your colour scheme/theme for the wedding? We wanted simple but nice and maybe a bit rustic (but not country because even though I listen to country I am from the city). I didn’t want something super girly like pink but I wanted a pop of color that felt bright, happy, and fun. I knew I wanted to do a lot myself so the simple/nice/rustic sort of fit in with that idea.
Where are you going for your honeymoon? We did 5 days in Maui and 5 days in Kauai (the groom had to plan and book it all!)
